A few days ago Jonny and I decided we were going to go antique shopping, or in our case it's really antique browsing.. lol. We planned a list of places to go and I added Pottery Barn to the list. Turns out it was the closest to our house so we headed there first. I walked in and sighed and Jonny fell in love with everything. I've been telling Jonny I'd like to do something different with our living room for a long time but it was never right time to get it done. Now that we have a move coming up and will have a new place to work with I think we're about ready for change. Here's a look at what our living room looked like when we FIRST got it done.
Now we'd like to lighten it up. We're planning on light light tan walls a blue accent wall. leather pieces and awesome rugs.
Here are some of the things we've bought for the new place:
Better look at the lamp
We got this rug in 6X9 for only $200 saving about $500 :)
and these three pillows:
We have a lot more to do. We're planning on keeping our couches and our dinning room table and just added more pieces like an ottoman, a couple chairs and a chaise lounge. We're going to splitting them up into two rooms, the living room and the great room.
What do you think so far?
Pottery Barn when you're going to have a little one running around soon... oh lorday girl! It's adorable but I hope you don't mind spit up and sticky fingers all over your new stuff!
ReplyDeletelol eh, spit up and sticky stuff is all cleanable. We think leather will be easier to clean up with a baby and we're keeping our old couches for now so I'm not too worried about those. :) I know the rug looks WHITE! but it looks a lot grayer in person.
ReplyDeleteI mean, who can resist Pottery Barn... really? :P
I sure can't! LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd you'd be surprised how badly spit up stains. Just keep some stain remover spray handy!
I love those pillows! Looks like fun!
